These MaxTrac 2002-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd 5.7L Hemi V8 Coil Spring Kit # 872171 can be used to help level the truck front to back or can be combined with a lift spindle to provide additional lift height. This is a very straightforward and basic coil spring 2.5" lift for the Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks. This item includes one pair of MaxTrac # 752425-8 Coil Springs and one set of MaxTrac 1450SL shock absorbers. The actual lift height may very due to vehicle weight and the condition of the factory springs. On higher mileage trucks this spring may provide more than 2.5" inches of lift. MaxTrac Coil Spring Kit # 872171 is designed only for use on the FRONT suspension on 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd Hemi 5.7L V8 engine equipped trucks. This spring will NOT work on any 4wd, 2500, or 3500 series Ram truck. The MaxTrac Coil Springs will NOT fit Ram Mega Cab 1500 2wd models! For customers that also want to lift the rear of their Ram 1500 truck we also offer Rear Suspension Lifts, available for purchase separately using the selection boxes located above this item description.
Standard Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab trucks will achieve different lift heights due to the variance in vehicle weight!
To complete the leveling kit new front shocks are included (MaxTrac # 1450SL). This MaxTrac 2.5" Coil Spring Lift is excellent for customers looking to get rid of the factory tail high raked look and will level most Ram 1500 2wd Trucks. The springs are an ideal solution for customers that want to retain their stock wheels and tires. With this kit a 33" tire will fit when mounted on factory Dodge wheels. For customers wanting to run larger than 33" tires we suggest either the CST 4" Spindle Lift package # PLC-D23-7C.
PerformanceLifts.com recommends having a professional install Coil Springs and suggests that all customers get the vehicle professionally aligned once the springs have been installed.
