Old Man Emu Tacoma Dakar Leaf Springs # EL112R. The advertised price includes 1 pair of Old Man Emu # EL112R Leaf Springs. These leaf springs will fit 2005-2020 Tacoma trucks but the actual lift height will vary depending on the model year and the amount of additional weight you have added to your truck. On the 2005-2015 trucks this leaf pack will provide between 2.50" and 2.75" inches of lift and on the 2016+ models closer to 2.00" inches. Again, this is VERY dependent on the amount of weight your Tacoma has over the rear axle. The heavier the load you are carrying the less lift this leaf pack provides.

The redesigned EL112R replaces the previous generation CS047R and EL096R packs. The slightly "stiffer" pack is better suited to Tacoma trucks permanently equipped with additional rear weight. If your Tacoma has been setup for Overland use (lots of permanently installed weight) OME recommend this pack # EL112R.

Product Notes:
These new EL112R springs feature thicker leaf separation plates designed to reduce squeaking. The spring clip retainers also have a plastic liner to reduce noise. OME Dakar Leaf Springs have a higher spring rate than the Factory Toyota leaf springs. Old Man Emu Dakar Leaf Springs do NOT include front or rear bushings. You can either attempt to reuse your existing bushings or purchase and install new ones (recommended). Longer than stock U-bolts will be required when installing these leaf springs and they are not included (available for purchase separately). Extended travel rear shock absorbers are highly recommended when installing OME Dakar Leaf Springs on any model year Tacoma. The OME Nitro series rear shocks are recommended for use with OME leaf springs and are available for purchase using the selection box located above this item description.

• Bolt Clamps and Liners: The leaf clamps are bolted to allow installation of anti squeak nylon liners.
• Fully Scragged and Load Tested: Scragging ensures the spring takes a permanent 'set' which reduces the risk of sagging. Load testing ensures the spring meets the required specification.
• Military Wrap: Designed to provide added safety.
• Anti Friction Pads: Interleaf liners reduce friction at the leaf tips where the load is the greatest.
• Flat Axle Seat Area: Allows a positive, safe axle mount reducing spring stress & increasing spring life.
• Shot Peening: The tension side of all leaves is shot peened to reduce spring stress. This process can double the life of a spring.
• Two-stage Leaf Pack: Featured on most rear springs for optimum comfort. When unladen the vehicle is largely riding on the primary stage, with the secondary stage providing additional support when a heavy load is added.
