The rear bumper can no longer be used for towing. A common question we receive is can I still tow using my factory hitch? The answer is YES! You can retain and tow with a factory frame mounted tow hitch / receiver. PerformanceLifts.com recommends adding Gap Guards #6545 to complete the installation of this kit. The Gap Guards will help improve the look of the vehicle by covering the gap between the frame rails and the wheel wells. They also help keep dirt and other road debris out of the engine compartment.
