Pro Comp 2019+ Ford Ranger 2.25" Leveling Kit # 62180 - 4x4 Only

This Explorer Pro Comp 2.25" Leveling Kit # 62180 is designed for use on 2019 and 2020 model year Ford Ranger 4x4 mid-size pickup trucks. The additional lift height provided can allow the use of larger than stock size tires and gives your new Ford Ranger a taller and more aggressive stance.

The Ranger’s factory front intrusion bars (crash bars) make running larger than stock size tires very difficult. Pro Comp includes new intrusion designed to provide additional tire clearance without reducing the safety or strength of the factory design. Some companies that sell cheaper kits expect you to cut these off and that's not the right way to clear a larger tire. The intrusion bars are designed to prevent the tire from moving rearward into the passenger compartment during an accident. Pro Comp uses steel leveling spacers which lift the front end approximately 2.25" inches and maintains the factory ride quality and safety features of your new truck.

Tire & Wheel Information:
Pro Comp states the maximum recommended tire size for use with their 2.25" leveling kit is a 285/70R17 mounted on a 17 x 8.5 wheel with +35mm offset. An alternative size is 265/70R18 on the factory Ford "OEM" 18-inch wheels. Use of larger than 265/70R18 tires is not recommended when retaining the factory Ford wheels.

Pro Comp specifies this product is designed for use on 4x4 models only.
