The Rancho RS9000XL series shock absorber is one of Rancho's best performing shocks available and is the newest in their RS9000 series. The RS9000XL has the now famous 9-way adjustable control knob that allows you to fine tune the shock absorber to your needs. When the shock is set to the lower positions the ride quality is softer and is excellent for pavement use and slow speed off-road use. When the shock is set to the higher settings the ride quality is firmed up and the handling when towing is greatly improved. Most customers set the shocks somewhere in between when they find a sweet spot that delivers a good ride for their vehicle.

The Rancho RS999254 is designed for use on Ford F250 SuperDuty 4x4 and Ford F350 SuperDuty 4x4 trucks as a rear shock absorber. The Rancho RS9000XL series of shocks are adjustable using a control knob that requires no tools to adjust. Setting 1 is the softest and Setting 9 is the firmest. The RS9000XL shocks makes it easy for any driver to adjust their ride from firm to soft and anywhere in between, making ride control simple and precise.
