The Rancho RS55373 Max Travel Shock Absorber is part of the Rancho RS5000X series shock absorbers... the worlds best-selling light truck shock absorber! The Rancho RS55373 is a new shock to the RS5000X lineup and is called "Maximum Travel" because it is designed for use on the front of torsion bar lifted 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 model year Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 trucks. Rancho gave this shock a fitting name, Maximum Travel. Rancho has designed this shock to work with 1" to 2.5" lift height torsion bar lifts. This shock is longer than the factory shock and is built solely for use with torsion bar or torsion key lifts. This shock is not designed for use with aftermarket shock extenders or shock brackets included with some torsion key kits.
