The Rare Parts # 28559 Heavy Duty Tie Rod Kit is designed to replace the wimpy and failure prone factory tie rod found on the GM 2500HD and 3500 series trucks and SUV's. If you own a GM fullsize truck or SUV and you travel off-road you may already know how weak the factory tie rod ends are. The factory ends are a common failure point and when one breaks you lose steering control. If you are running any sort of suspension or body lift and larger than stock tires this is a very good upgrade.

The inner tie rod design is 50% larger than the factory pieces too. Rare Parts designed their upgraded Gen 2 Heavy Duty Tie Rod kit to work with factory steering knuckles (spindles) and require no modifications to install.
