ReadyLift 2007-2013 GM 1500 Heavy Duty Steering Kit # 38-3002
DISCONTINUED BY MANUFACTURER - NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!
If you've got a 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500 and are looking for a tie rod upgrade this is the best we offer. Yes, this kit is expensive. But losing the ability to steer your truck can cost you a whole lot more than money. If you are running aftermarket wheels and larger off-road tires you are placing more stress on the steering system. GM engineers did not design the tie rod on the 1500 series trucks for use with 35" or larger tires. If you drive your truck off road the loads increase and that's usually when the factory GM tie rods fail. If luck is on your side the tie rod will fail at a low speed. If the tie rod fails while you are hauling ass... it could be game over. If you like to drive your truck hard then these new Heavy Duty Steering Kits are an absolute must have! Proven year after year in the harshest off road conditions such as the Baja 1000, the new ReadyLIFT Off Road Series 1 Heavy Duty Steering Kits are virtually indestructible! The ReadyLift # 38-3002 is built for use on 2007-2013 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 trucks. ReadyLift machines each kit to exacting tolerances using CNC equipment and a close eye. ReadyLIFT has stepped up their game so don't dismiss this steering kit without understanding the benefits. One of the biggest benefits to running these ReadyLIFT steering upgrade kits is their ability to handle larger amounts of compression and tension loads. These loads are common when running larger tires and during off road use. The large Teflon lined rod ends allow for maximum articulation and strength. Each ReadyLIFT Steering Kit features a stainless machined clevis and a heat treated adapter pin to accommodate the rod ends. The tie rods are hard black anodized aluminum to keep them looking good. By getting rid of the wimpy GM factory tie rods you are spending money where it counts... reliability. This kit can be used in multiple configurations; with a stock suspension, a leveling kit or a lift kit. Please note however that the ReadyLIFT 38-3002 is NOT for use on vehicles with a lift kit that consists of upgraded tie rods.
