RST F1RST AIR 24 Mountain Bike Fork

This RST F1RST 24 Air Fork is designed for use with 24" wheels. RST says their F1RST 24 Air Suspension Forks were designed with the next generation of riders in mind and we agree. RST borrowed technology they developed for their adult sized products and engineered a proper fork specifically designed for kids. One major improvement this fork offers is a massive weight reduction. Lighter forks are easier for kids to control and less weight means kids don't have to burn as much energy pedaling their bike up a hill. The other benefit is you can adjust the sag for different rider weights by altering the air pressure. You can also control the rebound valving and if you want to you can lock out the suspension remotely using the pre-installed remote lockout feature. If all of this sounds familiar it's because it probably is... Adult mountain bike forks have had these features for years.

Performance Lifts is not a bike shop. We specialize in modifying Jeep, Truck and SUV suspension systems. So why does an auto parts company sell bicycle forks? We enjoy riding bikes with our kids. These RST forks are available for purchase because we imported them direct from the manufacturer in Taiwan. Manufacturers won't sell 1 or 2 of something because it's not worth their time. So we had to buy more forks than we needed for our own kids. Our goal in selling these forks is to help smaller riders achieve better suspension performance on their mountain bikes. This is not a get rich quick scheme. We are selling the forks a few percentage points above cost to cover the cost of the part, shipping from Taiwan to California, Import Duty, payment processing and the "free" shipping we offer. The steerer tubes are uncut. The forks are BLACK as shown. They include a pre-installed remote lock-out lever that may or may not fit your kids handle bars properly. The forks do include an Owners Manual (with an English section) that's pretty good. All of the weights and measurements are metric. That means when setting the sag you'll need to convert from Kilograms to Pounds. The torque specs are in Newton Meters... please observe the recommended torque settings!

When we say the fork is in stock we mean it is in stock at our location in Southern Californa. We don't take your money and then send you an e-mail telling you it will be 4-6 months before your fork ships. If you order this fork from us it will normally ship out within 24 hours. The exception is if you place your order on a weekend or on a Holiday when we're closed. The FREE Shipping method is UPS Ground and ground delivery from California to most addresses in the USA is 1 to 5 business days. We also offer faster shipping services if you need the fork delivered sooner.
