Smittybilt GEN2 Overlander Tent XL # 2683. This tent was designed to improve upon previous generation tents. By increasing the size the Overlander Tent XL is better able to accommodate taller users. The mattress measures almost 92" long so even if your 7' tall this tent will allow you to sleep in a comfortable position. If you are tired of sleeping in a cramped regular sized tent the XL version is perfect for you! Please verify that your vehicle has sufficient roof weight carrying capacity and space before making your purchase. This tent would also be ideal for installation on a compatible off-road trailer.
This Gen 2 tent includes an upgraded tubular and telescoping ladder. This new ladder provides for easier access and the updated rain fly keeps you and your contents dry in inclement weather. The UV stabilized and waterproof cover protects your tent when it is stowed away. Smittybilt even includes an LED light strip to help you see what your doing after the sun has gone down. One feature that we really like is the access door on the bottom of the tent. With the tent above you this lower opening provides good protection during inclement weather that will help keep you from getting soaked as you make your way into or out of the tent.
