Superlift Ford Ranger & Explorer Front Driveshaft # 9636

This Superlift 9636 drive shaft is equipped with a Dual Cardan style joint at the transfer case side that is able to operate without binding at higher angles than the factory Ford drive shaft. The Superlift 9636 drive shaft is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for use on lifted Ford Ranger and Explorer (and Sport Trac) vehicles that are experiencing excessive factory front driveshaft wear and/or failure. If you own a Superlift 3-4" Lift and are tired of replacing the factory front drive shafts with "junk yard" takeoffs this is your solution! This Superlift driveshaft includes new transfer case side installation hardware. The front differential U-Joint hardware will be reused and is not included.

Fitment Information:

This front High-Angle driveshaft was designed by Superlift for use with their 1998 - 2010 Ford Ranger 4x4 suspension lift kits. Please note that Superlift does not officially support installation on late build date 2010 or any 2011 or newer trucks equipped with the updated FORD Stability Control System. Installation on any vehicle not equipped with a Superlift suspension lift system is not supported and is up to the purchaser / installer. If you have a 2011 model year Ford Ranger with a Superlift suspension lift installed on it that is considered an UNSUPPORTED INSTALLATION as Superlift does not recommend use of their K358 lift kit on any 2011 model year Ford Ranger.
