Total Chaos FJ Cruiser & 4Runner Expedition Series Lower Control Arms # 86555-E fits 2003 - 2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007 - 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser vehicles. Total Chaos took all of the experience they have building suspension systems for race vehicles and put it into this new Expedition Series Lower Control Arm design. This Expedition Series product is an evolution of the Race Series part and features updates that make it a lot more daily driver friendly. This arm kit is still constructed from 100% laser cut 4130 chromoly so it's extremely strong but not over weight. Don't think that light weight means you are giving up strength... the boxed design and 4130 Chromoly material is the same as you find on vehicles running the Dakar and similar off-road endurance rally events. The shape of the lower arm also maximizes ground clearance and features an integrated lower uniball cup that doesn't hang down as far as a bolt on ball-joint does. The main reason most customers install this # 86555-E Lower Control Arm is because it allows you to mount an additional shock absorber. Running a coilover and a secondary shock can provide superior ride and handling when your Toyota is being driven at highway speeds when there is no pavement in sight!

This Expedition Series Stock Width Lower Control Arm # 86555-E includes a 1" Stainless Steel Uniball that replaces the factory lower ball joints. This product is 100% made in the United States of America!
