Bilstein 24-187053 Adjustable Ride Height Shock Absorbers for 2005 - 2021 Nissan Frontier and 2005 - 2015 Nissan Xterra. This Bilstein adjustable lift height shock can provide additional lift height and the added benefit of a dramatic improvement in ride quality and handling. These Bilstein 5100 series shocks have a Zinc-plated finish that resists attack by the elements and chemicals found on the roadways. The Bilstein design is similar to the factory shock but the Bilstein shocks can provide additional front suspension lift height by positioning the lower coil spring seat up or down on the shock body. The ability to re-position the lower spring seat is what allows this shock to provide lift, something the factory Nissan shocks cannot do. These Bilstein shocks can be used to eliminate the factory rake and level the front of the vehicle with the rear. The Bilstein Frontier and Xterra Ride Height Adjustable shocks offer an extremely simple and effective solution that offers increased wheel travel while accommodating up to a 285/70/17 tire when mounted on Factory OEM Nissan wheels.

Important Product Notes::
The factory front shocks must be removed from the vehicle and the factory coil springs must be transferred over to the Bilstein shock body. This will require the use of a coil spring compressor and professional installation is highly recommended. A front end alignment must be performed after the suspension height is altered to prevent abnormal handling and/or tire wear. Newer Nissan vehicles come from the factory with a fixed alignment that cannot be adjusted. If your Nissan is a 2006 or newer model year may want to purchase the PRG Adjustable Alightment Cam & Bolt Kit. Without the installation of the adjustable Alignment Cam & Bolt Kit you may not be able to properly set the camber.
