FOX Racing Shox Performance Series 2.0 IFP Coilover # 983-02-054 fits 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier, 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra and 2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinder models. This coilover fits 2wd and 4x4 models and when adjusted can provide a stock ride height and up to 2" inches of lift over stock. These coilovers are a 100% bolt-on, Performance Series Coil-over IFP shock that is loaded with advanced technology and a long list of features that set it apart. The precision, metal impact extruded aluminum body increases cooling capacity and is rust resistant. The vehicle-specific upper mount includes a composite bushing that isolates noise and vibration. Locking, spring preload rings allow easy ride height and preload adjustment. Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shocks bolt on with no modifications and are designed to help level your truck or SUV front-to-rear.

This 2.0 IFP Series coilover features an internal reservoir with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design that separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. The IFP eliminates oil aeration which improves shock performance. Performance Series Coil-over IFP provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable offroad handling in even the toughest conditions.

Important Product Notes:
The coil spring rate used on this FOX coilover is 400 in/lbs. This spring rate is lower than what Nissan usually includes from the factory. This lower spring rate provides a softer than stock ride on the street and improved lower speed off-road comfort over the factory shock and spring. If you have added a heavy aftermarket front bumper with a winch this coilover is NOT designed for you as the spring rate will be too low. If your Frontier / Xterra / Pathfinder is driven FAST and aggressively offroad the included spring rate will most likely be too low and provide too soft of a ride. Customer reviews for street use and moderate speed off-road use however is fantastic! For 95% of our customers this lower spring rate provides the "softer" and more comfortable ride that they are looking for.
