Bilstein 2015 - 2020 Suburban & Yukon XL Front Adjustable Lift Shock # 24-253253

Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber # 24-253253 is designed specifically for use on the front suspension of your 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 model year Chevrolet Suburban 1500 or GMC Yukon XL 1500 vehicle. This Bilstein shock can provide a stock height setting or + .8" / +1.2" / +1.6" lift height increase over stock height. Like all Bilstein 5100 Series shocks, this shock features Bilstein's superior single tube high gas pressure design for the upmost in consistent fade-free performance and long life. Bilstein's patented Digressive self-adjusting valving delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride on all road surfaces at any speed.

How does this shock provide lift?
Simple... By moving the lower coil spring seat up or down the machined shock body you can increase the suspension lift height. Bilstein machines large C-clip grooves into the shock body that is designed to easily allow positioning of the lower spring seat at 4 different positions. The lower the spring seat is positioned the less lift is achieved. The higher the spring seat is positioned the more lift you get.
