Carli Suspension 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Ram 1500 4x4 Commuter 2.0 System # CS-RAM15C20-19. The Commuter 2.0″ System boasts 2.0″, IFP Fox Shocks. Designed and tuned in house for the customer looking for on-road and off-road performance improvement. Customers can expect a softer ride with more control and bottom-out resistance than stock. In the rear, Carli includes their multi-rate coil spring. This went through several iterations. The 2019+ came with an all new spring that sent Carli back to the drawing board. Carli created a spring that maximizes suspension travel while providing a supple yet predictable ride on and off the pavement. The new springs do not deviate too far from the factory load capacity. Carli rear springs are shot-peened & pre-set for longevity of the coil (won’t sag), then powder coated to ensures the finish quality is as good as the spring’s performance.

The Rear coil provides between 1-1.25″ of rear lift and runs 2 rates. The initial, softer rate is blocked out at ride height. This is NOT designed to be some super soft on-road rate – think of this as a “tender spring”. Carli wanted predictability in ride and handling so the truck will run on the 2nd rate unless the rear axle droops (offroad). Further, when loaded, it ensures sag is not exaggerated by initial collapsing of a softer rate. Take it in the dirt and, once the axle droops, the initial rate opens to keep the coil tight to its mounting perches while the extended travel shocks are pushed to the bottom of their longer stroke. Fitment Information:
The Commuter 2.0 shock package is NOT compatible with Air Ride or DS Classic Edition models! The Carli Commuter 2.0 System will provide different front lift heights on trucks with higher or lower weights over the front wheels. On a 5.7L Gasoline Hemi V8 the expected lift height is approximately 1.5" to 2" inches over stock height. On EcoDiesel models the lift height is less due to the heavier engine. Lift height on EcoDiesel models is between 1/2" and 1" over stock. Attempts to increase spring pre-load to gain additional ride height is not recommended.
