CST 2009-2012 Dodge Ram 1500 7" Lift - 2wd Only

CST 2009 - 2012 Ram 1500 2wd 7" Suspension Lift. This CST lift system spindles more ground clearance than a 4wd truck with a similar lift height so if 7" inches of suspension lift is a little too high we also offer shorter lifts available elsewhere on our website. The rear 4" lift included will level most 2009 - 2012 Ram 1500 2wd trucks front to rear.

Shock Absorbers:
CST does not include shock absorbers with this 7" suspension lift. Please note that extended length rear shock absorbers are required when installing this CST 7" lift. You can retain your factory front shock if the budget requires this but it is not recommended. Use of the correct length (slightly longer) front shock will dramatically improve the ride and handling. PerformanceLifts.com offers a number of different shocks available for use with this lift. To help ensure the ride and handling matches the trucks great looks PerformanceLifts.com recommends the CST Dirt Series 2.0 shock absorbers. The CST shocks are designed by CST for use with this CST 7" lift. We also offer Bilstein, Rancho and ProComp shocks that we modify for use with this lift. Shock absorbers can be purchased using the drop down selection boxes located beneath this item description.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory 17" diameter wheels and larger than factory size tires. Aftermarket wheels with less back space than factory wheels are required. CST recommends using a 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" wide. Wheels 10" or wider are not recommended but can be used. Wheel back space must not exceed 5.00" inches when running 17" or 18" diameter wheels or tire sidewall to suspension component clearance issues may occur! PerformanceLifts.com has a number of 2009+ Ram 1500 owners running the factory 20" wheels without a wheel spacer. When running the factory Dodge 20" wheel the tire width must not exceed 12" inches or a 305 mm. Most 20" or larger diameter wheels may be used as long as the back space does not exceed 5.50" inches.

Additional Information:
This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This kit does replace the coil springs but in most cases still provides a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride. This kit will not fit US Spec 2500 or 3500 series Ram trucks. Please note that you have the option of running 3" Lift Coil Springs OR the 3" Lift Coil Spring Spacers. Ram owners with trucks equipped with the 5.7L Hemi may want to run the CST 3" Lift Coil Spring Spacer to achieve maximum lift height. Please note, this kit has been verified to fit 2009, 2010, 2011 and the new 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks with the new body style and multi-link coil spring rear suspension design.
