CST 2009-2012 Ram 1500 2wd 7" Lift - 5.7L Hemi Only

CST Performance Suspension 7" Lift # CSK-D23-10. This Ram 1500 2wd 7" Lift fits the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 trucks equipped with the 5.7L Hemi V8 gasoline engine. The included CST 4" Lift Spindles are built in the USA by CST and are considerably stronger than the OEM parts they replace. CST lift spindles also provide a ground clearance increase that gives the 2wd Ram more ground clearance than a same height lifted Ram 1500 4x4! If 7" inches of suspension lift is a little too high we also offer shorter lifts available elsewhere on our website. Please note, at this time CST only offers two rear lift options for use with their 7" Front Lift, the CST 3" or CST 4" Lift Rear Box Kit. The CST 4" Lift Rear Box Kit included with the 7" kit will level most Ram 1500 trucks front to rear.

Shock Absorbers:
CST does not include shock absorbers with this 7" suspension lift. Please note that extended length rear shock absorbers will be required when installing this CST 7" lift. Use of the correct length (slightly longer) front shock will also dramatically improve the ride and handling. Performance shock absorbers will ensure the ride and handling matches the trucks great looks. We offer Bilstein, Rancho and ProComp rear shocks for use with this lift. Shock absorbers can be purchased using the selection boxes located above this item description.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory 17" diameter wheels and larger than factory size tires. Aftermarket wheels with less back space than factory wheels are required. CST recommends using a 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" wide. Wheels 10" or wider are not recommended but can be used. Wheel back space must not exceed 5.00" inches when running 17" or 18" diameter wheels or tire sidewall to suspension component clearance issues may occur! PerformanceLifts.com has a number of Ram 1500 owners running the factory 20" wheels without a wheel spacer. When running the factory Dodge 20" wheel the tire width must not exceed 12" inches or a 305 mm. Most 20" or larger diameter wheels may be used as long as the back space does not exceed 5.50" inches.

Additional Information:
This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment on the 2009-2012 model year Ram with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This kit does replace the coil springs but in most cases still provides a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride. This kit will not fit US Spec 2500 or 3500 series Ram trucks. This kit will only fit Ram 1500 2wd trucks equipped with the 5.7L Hemi engine.
