CST 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 4" Lift - 2wd Only # CSK-D3-1

CST 4" Suspension Lift System # CSK-D3-1. This lift kit is designed for use on the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks only. This lift will fit all Standard Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab models. Please note this item will NOT fit MegaCab 1500 models! The CST 4" Lift Spindle works with all bed lengths and V6 and V8 Gasoline Engine options. It even fits the Ram Eco-Diesel trucks equipped with the standard non-Air Ride suspension. The CST 4" Front Suspension lift is provided by the pair of CST Ductile Iron Lift Spindles. A set of Extended Length Braided Stainless Steel Front Brake Hoses are included and will replace the factory hoses. The included Brake Hoses are DOT approved and have the required manufacturer DOT stamp! The Rear Suspension Lift is accomplished using a pair of CST 1" Lift Billet Aluminum Rear Coil Spring Spacers.

Please note, at this time PerformanceLifts.com offers a number of rear lift height options. The standard CSK-D1-5-4 kit includes a 1" billet aluminum spacer. The Black & Tan Eco-Diesel Ram 1500 shown in the product image is running the 1.5" tall rear spacer. We also offer the ICON Vehicle Dynamics part number 212150 Rear Lift Coil Springs that provide 1.50" of lift and replace the factory Dodge rear springs. The ICON 1.50" Coil Springs have a slightly higher spring rate than the factory Dodge spring and have a progressive design which makes them ideal for towing and hauling. Please note, customer feedback tells us the CST 1.50" rear lift height is the best choice when the front has been lifted 4" inches and a level stance is desired. Installation of a 4" front and 1" rear lift will result in the front of the truck being slightly taller than the back.

The factory front and rear shock absorbers can be retained when installing this lift if desired. For a ride and handling performance upgrade PerformanceLifts.com does offer Bilstein and CSTshock absorbers for use with the CST 1" or 1.5" rear lift. Upgraded rear shocks are available for purchase using the selection boxes located above this item description. This is a 100% Bolt On Kit! Installation is easy and can be reverted back to stock at any time.

This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This CST 4" spindle lift kit does NOT replace the factory Dodge front coil springs and for this reason retains a very smooth and comfortable ride on road and off! This CST lift will NOT fit Ram 2500 or 3500 series trucks (except for certain non-US models)! Please note, this kit has been verified to fit all 2009 through 2018 Ram 1500 2wd trucks with the new body style and multi-link coil spring rear suspension design.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory 17" diameter wheels unless a wheel spacer is installed. When running 17" or 18" diameter wheels less back space is required to prevent the tire sidewall from making contact with the CST 4" Lift Spindle. For this reason CST recommends using a 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" inches wide. When running 17" or 18" diameter wheels the maximum recommended back space is 5.25" inches. When running 20" wheels the maximum recommended back space is 5.50" inches. We have a number of customers successfully using larger than stock tires with their factory 20" diameter Dodge wheels with this lift. Customers wanting to run tires wider than 12.00" inches (wider than a 305 series) on their factory Dodge 20" diameter wheels should consider a wheel spacer to ensure sufficient clearance between the tire sidewall and the CST 4" lift spindle. The Metallic Silver Ram shown in product image is running a Goodyear 315/70R17 tire on Walker Evans Racing wheels. The Black & Tan Ram is running a 285/65/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 on factory Ram 20" wheels.
