This CST Performance Suspension # CSS-D2-5 Dirt Series UniBall Upper Control Arm Kit is designed for use on all 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 model year 2wd and 4x4 Ram 1500 trucks. CST Dirt Series Upper Control Arms feature a sealed top cap design that limits the amount of contaminants that can get between the ball and race. Most companies leave the UniBall exposed to the elements and this causes accelerated wear. The CST sealed top cap design reduces wear and tear and this increases the longevity of the parts. CST Dirt Series Control Arms feature FK 1.00" UniBalls with a PTFE liner for smooth and quiet operation. The 1.00" UniBall that CST uses are MUCH stronger than the stock ball-joints they replace. The UniBall has been proven in all forms of motorsports and will hold up better under extreme off-road use than factory parts do.

Important Product Notes:

The CSS-D2-5 Dirt Series Upper Control Arm kit will not provide lift by itself. CST Control Arms are designed to provide an increase in strength and to allow for a proper alignment after a lift or leveling kit has been installed. Ram engineers have designed the front suspension on the Ram 1500 2wd so that the front shock absorber limits how far the front suspension can extend (rebound travel). For this reason use of the correct length front shock absorbers is very important. CST recommends that customers running longer extended length front shocks cycle the front suspension to ensure the CST Dirt Series Upper Control Arms will not make contact with the coil pocket on the frame. Use of a front shock absorber that is too long in the extended length may also allow the factory tie rods to operate beyond their intended range of motion resulting in increased wear and/or damage.
