CST 2011 - 2019 GM 2500HD & 3500 Carrier Bearing Drop # CSS-C28-3

CST Rear Carrier Bearing Drop Spacer # CSS-C28-3. Fits 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 model year Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD / 3500 and GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500 4x4 trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft. This drop bracket is only for use on trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear drive shaft. General Motors uses different carrier bearings across their truck line. This particular Carrier Bearing Spacer is only for use on trucks with a 4.307" bolt pattern. If you are unsure if this item will fit your truck please measure from the center of bolt to the center of bolt on your existing carrier bearing and we can determine if this item is correct or not. If your measurement is closer to 6.656" inches you need a different part number!

When the rear suspension lift height is increased it also increases the operating angle of the rear driveshaft. This increase in angle can be hard on the rear carrier bearing and this spacer is designed to help reduce the angle at the intersection between the primary and secondary rear driveshaft sections. If you experience any rear driveline vibration and have a 2-piece rear driveshaft this product will help reduce and possibly eliminate that issue. This item is not included in any of the base CST 6-8" or 8-10" kits as not all GM trucks utilize a 2-piece rear driveshaft. This item is only for use on vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear driveline!
