CST Performance Suspension 2013 - 2018 Ram 1500 2wd Suspension Lift System # CSK-D5-1. This Stage 1 lift system has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment on the 2013 through 2018 model year Ram 1500 2wd trucks with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This kit does replace the coil springs but in most cases still provides a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride. This lift system is for all 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Ram 1500 2wd trucks equipped with Gasoline and EcoDiesel engine options. Does NOT fit trucks with Factory Air Ride! Yes, this lift DOES fit the 2019 - 2023 Ram 1500 Classic DS trucks. Will NOT fit 2019+ 5th Generation DT trucks.

Wheel Fitnent Information:

This CST Stage 1 lift system will not work with factory 17" diameter wheels unless wheel spacers are installed. Wheel back space must not exceed 5.00" inches when running 17" or 18" diameter wheels or tire sidewall to suspension component clearance issues may occur! CST recommends the use of 8" or 9" wide wheels to ensure sufficient front tire to inner fender clearance when turning. Use of wheels 10" inches or wider will in most cases cause rubbing issues when the front tires are turned.

20" Diameter Wheel Info:

Performance Lifts has a number of Ram 1500 2wd owners successfully running the factory 20" wheels with this CST 5.5" lift. When running the factory Dodge 20" wheel the tire width must not exceed 12" inches or a 305 series. If you want to use your factory 20" wheels and run a tire wider than 12.00" inches a wheel spacer will most likely be required. When running aftermarket 20" or larger diameter wheels the back space should not exceed 5.50" inches.

Front Shock Absorbers:

CST does not include front shock absorbers with this Stage 1 Suspension Lift System. Use of the correct length front shock will dramatically improve the ride and handling of this suspension system. Front Shock Absorbers can be purchased for an additional cost using the selection boxes located above this item description.

Rear Shock Absorbers:

Installation of extended length rear shocks is mandatory when installing this suspension system. The factory rear shocks will absolutely not work properly. We offer a number of rear shock absorbers for use with this CST lift system. We recommend the CST Dirt Series 2.0 Emulsion if the budget allows and the Bilstein 5100 series shocks if you are looking for a less expensive option. Tire Size Information:

This CST Stage 1 Lift will allow the use of 35" tires without trimming when the correct wheel width and back space is used. The use of 37" tires is only possible after substantial trimming and inner fender clearancing is performed. For that reason the largest tire size we recommend is 35" inches.

Additional Information:

A question we are commonly asked is why is the front lifted more that the rear? By lifting the front more than the rear CST is able to level the stance of these trucks. The 2013+ Ram 1500 2wd trucks commonly sit 2.5" to 3" inches lower in the front than the rear. This kit does not require any cutting or welding to install. The truck can be reverted back to stock height if the need arises (leased vehicles, trade-in, etc).
