CST 2013 - 2018 Ram 1500 2wd 5.5" Lift - Fabricated Spindles

CST Performance Suspension 5.5" Lift # CSK-D1-1-1. Fits 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year Ram 1500 2wd trucks equipped with the 4.7L or 5.7L Hemi V8. This suspension lift system provides increased ground & tire clearance while maintaining the stock ride, handling & load rating! This more expensive CST 7" lift includes the Fabricated Steel 4" Lift Spindles which are lighter and stronger than the Cast Iron version. The kit also includes CST replacement coil springs which when combined with the CST 4" Lift Spindles provide approxiamtely 5,5" of front suspension lift. Included are a set of extended length DOT Approved Stainless Steel Braided front brake hoses. The rear of the truck is lifted 3" or 4" inches using fabricated steel coil spacers and a fabricated steel pan-hard bar drop bracket. The spacers and Pan Rod Bar drop bracket are designed to keep the factory rear load rating and stock ride quality. The CST 3" Lift Rear Box Kit will level most Ram 1500 trucks front to rear. If you want the back of the truck to be slightly higher than the front we offer the CST 4" Rear Lift Box Kit.

Shock Absorbers:
CST does not include shock absorbers with this suspension lift. Please note that extended length rear shock absorbers will be required when installing this CST lift. Replacement front shocks are considered optional and are not required to install the CST 5.5" Lift. Installation of an aftermarket front shock may help improve the ride and handling. We offer Bilstein, CST, Rancho and ProComp shocks for use with this lift. Shock absorbers can be purchased using the selection boxes located above this item description.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory 17" diameter wheels and larger than factory size tires. Aftermarket wheels with less back space than factory wheels are required. CST recommends using a 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" wide. Wheels 10" or wider are not recommended but can be used. Wheel back space must not exceed 5.00" inches when running 17" or 18" diameter wheels or tire sidewall to suspension component clearance issues may occur! PerformanceLifts.com has a number of 2013 - 2018 Ram 1500 owners running the factory 20" wheels without a wheel spacer. When running the factory Dodge 20" wheel the tire width must not exceed 12" inches or a 305 mm. Most 20" or larger diameter wheels may be used as long as the back space does not exceed 5.50" inches.

Additional Information:
This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment on the 2013 through 2018 model year Ram 1500 2wd trucks with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This kit does replace the coil springs but in most cases still provides a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride. This kit will not fit US Spec 2500 or 3500 series Ram trucks.
