CST 2017+ Silverado & Sierra HD Front Driveshaft # CSP-C28-7

CST Performance Suspension High Angle CV Style Front Driveshaft # CSP-C28-7. Designed for use on 2017 and 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500  series trucks equipped with the CST 8-10" suspension lift system and the Duramax / Allison combination. If your 2500HD or 3500 series truck is running a CST Performance Suspension 8-10" lift kit and you are experiencing front driveline vibrations or noise when operating your truck in 4x4 mode this may be the solution you need. The drive shaft features a Dual Universal Joint Cage (aka Dual Cardan) at the transfer case side that effectively doubles the angular capacity at which the driveshaft can operate at. This increase in allowable operating angle allows the driveshaft to operate at steeper angles without binding. When you eliminate the bind you also eliminate the vibrations. This driveshaft is also longer and is designed to work with the CST 8-10" lifts only!

Starting sometime in the 2017 model year trucks GM made revisions to the front driveshaft. If you own a 2017 model year truck please contact us before purchasing this part so that we can verify it is correct. This item will NOT fit the 2016 or earlier trucks with the older style front driveshaft.

Installation of the CST # CSP-C28-7 Replacement Front Driveshaft will also require the installation of CST part # CSS-C22-13 Low Profile Shift Linkage Bracket Kit. Failure to install the correct CST Shift Linkage Bracket kit on your truck can allow the CSP-C28-7 driveshaft to literally rip the factory shift linkage right off the truck causing major damage. The reason for this is because the CST Dual Cardan style driveshaft has a larger outside diameter at the transfer case side than the factory GM driveshaft does.
