CST 2004+ Colorado & Canyon Crossmember Kit

For years CST has limited the rear suspension travel on their 5" suspension lifts by using a 24" extended length shock absorber. While this short rear shock does prevent the driveshaft from making contact with the crossmember it hurts the ride quality because the shock is almost fully extended at ride height. By installing this Crossmember Kit you can use up to a 26" extended length rear shock which will dramatically improve the ride and handling of your Colorado or Canyon. Please note that this CSS-C22-11 Crossmember Kit is ONLY for use on a Colorado or Canyon equipped with a 1-piece rear driveshaft. If your truck has a 2-piece rear Driveshaft with a Carrier Bearing this kit will NOT fit!

Installation of this item will require cutting and welding. Installation instructions are provided. Please note that CST strongly recommends that this item be installed by a professional fabricator. Should an inferior or inexperienced welder install this item it could lead to serious injury or death. The crossmember being modified helps support the fuel tank. For this reason extreme caution must be used when cutting, grinding or welding near this area of the truck as sparks could cause a fire or explosion.
