CST GM 2500HD & 3500 6.0L Front Driveshaft # CSP-C28-3

The CST Performance Suspension High Angle CV Style Front Driveshaft # CSP-C28-3 is designed for installation on 2001 - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC SIerra 1500HD, 2500HD and 3500 series trucks equipped with the 4L80 transmission and 6.0L V8 Gasoline engine. It will also fit GM SUV's like the Suburban 2500 and Yukon XL 2500 equipped with the 6.0L V8 gasoline engine and 4L80 transmission. This driveshaft is designed specifically to reduce front driveline vibration on GM vehicles equipped with a drop subframe style suspension lift system. If your truck or SUV is running a CST Performance Suspension lift kit and you are experiencing front driveline vibrations or noise when operating your vehicle in 4x4 mode this may be the solution you need. The CSP-C28-3 driveshaft features a Dual Universal Joint Cage (aka Dual Cardan) at the transfer case side that effectively doubles the angular capacity at which the driveshaft can operate at and not bind or cause vibrations.

Attention 2007 and newer HD Owners:
If you own a 2007 through 2010 model year truck the CST CSP-C28-3 Replacement Front Driveshaft will also require the installation of the CST # CSS-C22-7 Shift Linkage Bracket. Failure to install the correct CST Shift Linkage Bracket kit on your vehicle can allow the CSP-C28-3 driveshaft to rip the factory linkage right off the truck causing major damage. The reason for this is because the CST Dual Cardan style driveshaft has a larger outside diameter at the transfer case side than the factory GM driveshaft does. Important - Please Read!
This driveshaft measures 38.750" from the end of the splines on the transfer case side to the center of the U-joint cap on the front differential side of the shaft. You will need to verify this length is correct for your specific vehicle before placing your order. Once a driveshaft has been test fit or installed it cannot be returned. No Exceptions!
