Fabtech Motorsport offers their K1030 8" suspension lift kit for the 2007-2010 model year 2500HD and 3500 Single Rear Wheel owner that needs to get his or her truck raised up above the rest! Fabtech offers this 8" lift kit for all 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD 2wd and 4wd pickup trucks. Please note, this lift will also fit 3500 series Single Rear Wheel models. This lift is not designed for use on Silverado or Sierra trucks equipped with factory Dual Rear Wheels! With this Fabtech 8" suspension lit kit installed most customers are running 37" diameter tires. The 8" Performance Suspension System is accomplished via one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles attaching to heavy-duty 1/4" thick, high arched lower control arm crossmembers with tubular upper control arms. Fabtech's combination of steering knuckle, high arched crossmembers and upper control arms provides an excellent ride quality with high ground clearance. This system will provide a true 8 inches of lift without adjustment to the torsion bars allowing the use of 37" tall tires. On 4wd models the front differential is relocated far enough down from the factory location that late model 2007-2010 vehicles equipped with the Magna 1625 transfer case will require the use of a CV front driveshaft to address high speed 4WD use. New tubular upper control arms fit into the stock frame pockets using urethane bushings.
The front suspension is completed with an differential skid plate, tubular crossmember supports and impact struts while the torsion bar drop down brackets properly align the torsion bars to the relocated stock lower control arms. The rear suspension is lifted using a 4" block kit with 2" lift Add-A-Leafs. The system is completed with rear bump stop brackets and a rear driveshaft carrier bearing drop bracket.
Please Note:
Fabtech has very specific wheel back space recommendations when running 37" tires with this 8" lift. If you want to run a 17" diameter wheel the back space should not exceed 4-5/8" inches. If running an 18" or larger diameter wheel back space should not exceed 5.00" inches. Factory wheels and larger than stock tires will NOT work with this suspension lift due to the use of replacement steering knuckles. This kit is now available only in gloss Black. This item is no longer offered by Fabtech in blue.
