Fabtech 6" Suspension Lift 2001-2010 2500HD 3500 # K1014

This awesome 6" suspension lift kit (K1014) by Fabtech is designed for Chevrolet or GMC 2500HD owners looking to make an already great looking vehicle even better! Shortly after the release of the Silverado truck line in 1999, GM introduced a fully revamped line of 2wd and 4WD heavy duty trucks for 2001. These new HD series trucks received a torsion bar front suspension with a leaf spring rear suspension. This made designing a lift kit more difficult but the pros at Fabtech came up with a kit that performs as good as it looks.

The front end lift is accomplished via one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles attaching to heavy-duty 1/4" thick, high arched lower control arm crossmembers. Solid steel billet sway bar end links with urethane bushings retain the factory front sway bar angle while the stock upper control arms and steering centerlink are retained in the factory position. They even include an integrated differential skid plate to help protect the front end from those off-road encounters with rocks or stumps! Rear lift is accomplished using cast iron lift blocks and extended length u-bolts

Please Note:
Wider than stock tires cannot be installed on the factory wheels. Fabtech recommends an aftermarket 16x8 or 17x8 wheel with a maximum back space of 4 5/8 inches be used. This kit is now available only in gloss Black. This item is no longer offered by Fabtech in blue.
