This Fabtech Motorsports FTS2096 2" Lift Shackle Kit is designed for use on 1995.5 - 2004 Toyota Tacoma 5-Lug pickup trucks. This product will NOT fit 6-lug Tacoma models! The Fabtech FTS2096 Lift Shackle Kit will raise the rear of your Toyota Tacoma 5-lug pickup truck approximately 2 inches. Fabtech Motorsports 1995.5 - 2004 Toyota Tacoma 5-Lug Lift Shackles # FTS2096. This set of rear leaf spring lift shackles are longer than the factory shackles and will provide approximately 2" inches of lift. The 5-lug Tacoma has the leaf spring UNDER the axle tube which prevents the use of lift blocks. The Fabtech shackles are easy to install using basic hand tools and can be installed in about an hour.
Installation Information:
Installation of this Fabtech FTS 2096 may require exhaust modification. The rear exhaust tailpipe may require relocation and / or cutting to clear the Fabtech 2" lift shackle. Will not fit 4x4 or PreRunner models! For use on 1995.5 - 2004 Toyota Tacoma 5-Lug trucks only. Absolutely not for use on any other vehicles! Once the factory shackle is removed inspect the original bushing in the leaf spring. If there is a metal sleeve pressed into the bushing you will need to press the sleeve out along with the factory bushing and replace with the supplied bushings. If there is no sleeve in the factory leaf spring bushing you will leave the original bushings in place and NOT USE the supplied Fabtech bushings.
