FOX 2007-2016 Silverado & Sierra 0-2" Lift Coilover IFP

This FOX Racing Shock # 983-02-086 is a complete coilover kit for the 2007-2013 and 2014+ Steel Suspension equipped Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks. This coilover will also fit the 2007-2013 Tahoe, Suburban 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL 1500. The threaded shock body allows for a wide adjustment range between 0" and 2" inches of lift over stock height. This coilover kit includes pre-installed coil springs which makes for a much easier installation as no coil spring compressor is required. FOX direct replacement shocks deliver race-winning performance in a simple direct replacement bolt on shock. This FOX Racing Coilover IFP # 983-02-086 replaces the previous part number 985-02-008. The advertised price includes one pair of Fox coilover shocks. These coil over shocks will fit all 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models as well as the new 2014+ Silverado and Sierra 1500 series trucks equipped with the steel suspension. This coilover will fit both 2wd and 4wd models. If you own a 2007-2015 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon or Yukon XL this coilover will also fit. Please note, not for use with 8-lug 2500 series SUV's.
FOX also offers matching rear shock absorbers, FOX part number 980-24-660. The FOX IFP 2.0 Rear Shocks are sold in pairs and offer improved performance over the factory GM shocks. The FOX 980-24-660 rear shocks will work on the rear of stock height trucks as well as those equipped with up to 1.5" inches of lift. The FOX IFP Rear Shock features an Aluminum body construction and have the same appearance and many of the same features as the FOX IFP Coilover.

With this coilover adjusted to provide an increase in ride height you can run a larger than stock size tire. Most customers are running 285/70/17 or similar size tires. Please note, not all aftermarket tire and wheel combinations will allow the use of a 33" or similar size tire. PerformanceLifts.com recommends test fitting all aftermarket tire and wheel combinations before operating the vehicle.
