Icon 2003-2008 Ram 2500/3500 4.5" Lift - Stage 1 # K214500T

To correct the steering geometry the ICON Stage 1 kit uses a Drop Pitman Arm, a Pan-Rod Drop Bracket and replacement Upper and Lower Control Links. To make sure the 4.5" lift provides proper highway manners ICON includes a set of high quality sway bar drop brackets.Retaining the front sway bar is important on a daily driver as it prevents excessive side to side sway. To complete the Stage 1 lift ICON includes extended length bump stops, a 2.50" Rear Lift Block and U-Bolt kit, ICON Front and Rear 2.0 V.S Series Mono-Tube Shock Absorbers and all necessary installation hardware.

The heart of the ICON 4.5" Suspension Lift System are the ICON coil springs. The 4.5" Dodge Ram 2500 / 3500 suspension system is designed to offer you both incredible ride quality and daily driver performance and it's the coil springs that make this possible. ICON Coil Springs feature a Dual Rate that have a softer normal ride zone and an aggressive 2nd rate to help prevent bottoming out. That means during normal street driving the small bumps are easily absorbed by the springs "soft" rate. This allows the ICON 4.5" system to provide a great highway ride. When you take the truck off-road the 2nd rate will engage and firm up the suspension as the bumps get bigger. By having a firm 2nd rate the ICON spring helps to prevent frequent bottoming out that plagues these trucks. ICON covers their coil springs using a dual stage powder coat process that helps prevent corrosion and each spring is shot peened and preset to help reduce sagging. A performance suspension system must be controlled by a quality shock absorber. The Stage I 241500 kit includes a set of ICON V.S. Series 2.0 shocks. The ICON V.S. Series 2.0 shocks are a smooth body non-reservoir shock and offer incredible ride quality and performance for their size. ICON builds and valves their V.S. shocks specifically for the vehicle application. These are not "One size fits all" shock absorbers. These are purpose built for use on a lifted Solid Axle Ram 2500 or 3500! The ride quality improvement provided by the ICON V.S. Series 2.0 over the stock Dodge shocks is proof that the ICON R&D investment paid off.

This ICON 214500 Stage 1 4.5" Lift is designed to fit all 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 model year Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series single rear wheel 4x4 trucks.
