ICON Vehicle Dynamics Hydraulic Air Bump Stop System # 56103. Fits 2005 to 2023 model year Toyota Tacoma 6-lug trucks. Will NOT fit 5-lug models. The main benefit of using a compression and rebound tuned bumpstop is the exponentially increasing force is smooth, not abrupt or harsh like the OEM bumpstop. When the suspension is equipped with a more progressive bumpstop you can drive the vehicle in a much more agressive manner without feeling the harshness associated with the factory bumpstops. This ICON Bump Stop System features a bolt-on design using existing holes in frame. This allows the Do-It-Yourself installer to perform a clean installation without having to perform any cutting or welding. This system has been designed for use on the Toyota Tacoma and has specific tuning to maximize bottom out resistance while having smooth engagement as well as return. This system can absorb additional impact energy over the OEM rubber bump stop and returns the axle in a more controlled manner which leads to better control at higher speeds as the tires stay in better contact with the road surface.

Tech Info:

Factory rivet removal required. Configurable design to maximize up travel with OEM or aftermarket spring pack thicknesses. Includes bump stop strike pad that uses factory u-bolts to secure in place. Installation time is approximately 2 hours.

Optional Upgrades / Accessories:

56105 - U-bolt Flip Striker Plates (not included)

The ICON # 56105 is ONLY for use if you have performed a U-Bolt Flip. A U-Bolt Flip changes the orientation of the U-bolts. Normally the threaded end of the U-bolt and hardware points "down" from the factory and if your U-bolts are oriented like this you do NOT need the ICON # 56105. If you have flipped your U-Bolts so the threaded end and nut of the U-bolt point "up" you will need the ICON 56105.

As part of the kit, ICON includes an industry first selectable install height for the hydraulic air bumpstop so up travel is not limited with use of an aftermarket thicker leaf pack. This allows you to upgrade your leaf springs down the road, and retain maximum up travel without having to purchase a new bump stop bracket kit.
