MaxTrac 752425-8 Coil Springs are designed only for use on the FRONT suspension on 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd Hemi 5.7L V8 engine equipped trucks. This spring will NOT work on any 4wd, 2500, or 3500 series Ram truck. The MaxTrac Coil Springs will NOT fit Ram Mega Cab 1500 2wd models! For customers that also want to lift the rear of their Ram 1500 truck we also offer Rear Suspension Lifts, available for purchase separately using the selection boxes located above this item description.

Standard Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab trucks will achieve different lift heights due to the variance in vehicle weight!

To complete the leveling kit new front shocks are recommended and PerformanceLifts.com highly recommends the Bilstein 24-062107M part number shock absorber for use on the 2wd Ram 1500 model. This is because the 2.5" lift coil springs require more rebound shock valving than a truck with stock coil springs. The front shock absorber on the 2002 - 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd Truck is designed to limit the amount of front suspension extension (rebound) travel. If you replace the factory front shocks with one that is too long in the extended length it can allow the factory upper control arm to make contact with the side of the frame. This can cause a clunking noise and eventually may cause damage to the front suspension components. Yes, you can run a longer extended length front shock but this MAY allow the upper arm to make contact with the frame.

This MaxTrac 2.5" Coil Spring Lift is excellent for customers looking to get rid of the factory tail high raked look and will level most Ram 1500 2wd Trucks. The springs are an ideal solution for customers that want to retain their stock wheels and tires. With this kit a 33" tire will fit when mounted on factory Dodge wheels. For customers wanting to run larger than 33" tires we suggest either the CST 4" Spindle Lift package # PLC-D23-7C. PerformanceLifts.com recommends having a professional install Coil Springs and suggests that all customers get the vehicle professionally aligned once the springs have been installed.
