Explorer Procomp Long Arm Upgrade # 56714B-1. Fits 2009-2012 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks already equipped with a 6" suspension lift system. This item includes only the control arms and mounting kit. This is NOT a complete lift system. This is a LONG ARM UPGRADE ONLY!

Dodge owners for years have known that longer control arms provides a ride and handling advantage over shorter control arms. This Pro Comp Long Arm upgrade kit allows for more suspension travel with less caster change which results in better off-road suspension performance. This Explorer ProComp Long Arm Kit # 56714B-1 includes control arm mount brackets that bolt-on to the frame to provide a secure attaching point for the new longer upper and lower control arms. ProComp designed their Long Arm system to maximize ride quality and improve handling over all road surfaces on lifted trucks. Please note, the 56714B-1 will push the front axle assembly forward approximately 3/4" of an inch on an otherwise stock Ram. This is done on purpose and allows for additional clearance of larger than stock tires.

This ProComp 56714B-1 Long Arm Kit includes a pair of upper and a pair of lower control arms. Rear control arm mounting brackets. All necessary hardware and bushings necessary to install. Pro Comp designed this system to work with their 6" lift. Because suspension geometry is important this Long Arm kit is not recommended for use with suspension lifts less than 5" inches or taller than 8" inches.

Shipping Damage Likely - Please Read!
For some unknown reason Pro Comp ships this item in a box without any padding or protective cushioning. Expect the parts to arrive with scuff marks and chips in the finish. Shipping companies do not pay out for claims because the item was not properly packaged for shipment. If a box arrives missing components we will send out replacement parts but this may delay your installation date that we have no real control over. There is nothing Performance Lifts can do about transit damage caused to the finish because these long arm kits are heavy and boxed poorly by the manufacturer. Pro Comp has been made aware of this for years and yet they have done nothing to fix the situation. If you are unwilling to accept this as fact please do not order this item and have it shipped to you. By purchasing this item you acknowledge that this product will almost certainly arrive with cosmetic damaged and you promise you won't be a jerk about it when that happens. You have been warned!
