Explorer Procomp 2014 - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 Series 6" Lift Kit # K1171B. This 6" Suspension Lift System is engineered to deliver amazing performance both on- and off-road. With 6" inches of suspension lift you can run up to 35" tall tires. With additional height and larger tires your new GM truck will have a more aggressive stance and attitude. This lift is 100% compatible with the factory StabiliTrak electronic stability control system. Pro Comp is proud to announce that its 6-inch suspension system for the 2014 - 2017 Silverado & Sierra 1500 has been tested and successfully passed the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS 126) test. This highly specialized test was performed to show that the installation of a Pro Comp 6-inch suspension system, Pro Comp wheels and 35-inch Pro Comp Tires would not compromise the performance and effectiveness of the vehicle's Electronic Stability Control system.

IMPORTANT:
The 2014+ Silverado and Sierra 1500 can be equipped with three different types of front suspension. This particular lift is ONLY for use with factory Aluminum or Stamped Steel suspension equipped trucks. If your Silverado or Sierra has the factory Cast Steel suspension this lift will NOT FIT! Please make sure you verify your vehicle’s factory suspension material type before purchasing or installing your Pro Comp suspension system.

Recommended maximum tire and rim size: 35" x 12.50" on 17"-20" diameter, 8" or 9" wide rims with up to 5.00" backspacing. Explorer ProComp also offers shock absorber upgrades for use with their 6" lift. The K1171B includes a steel spacer that retains the front shock and a pair of extended length ES9000 series shocks for the back. The K1171BPX includes ProComp Pro-Runner Front Coilovers and Pro-Runner series rear shocks. K1171BP includes a steel spacer for the front shocks and a pair of Pro Runner MonoTube shocks for the rear. K1171BPS includes a steel spacer, a pair of Pro Runner MonoTube front shocks and a pair of Pro Runner rear shocks.  These shock options can be purchased using the selection box located above this item description. The approximate installation time is 6 to 8 hours.
