This RCD / Bilstein part number 20-52498-25 is specifically for use on the front suspension of 1998 - 2002 Ford Ranger trucks equipped with the RCD coilover conversion suspension lift kit. Again, this shock is only designed for use trucks already equipped with the RCD # 10-42498 suspension lift system. Some customers have installed this shock on trucks equipped with other manufacturers lifts. This is NOT officially supported and we cannot answer fitment questions for trucks equipped with some other manufacturers lift kit.

Please note that this RCD / Bilstein shock is only designed for use on trucks that have installed the RCD 10-42498 Lift System. Bilstein shocks feature superior single tube high gas pressure design for the consistent fade-free performance and long life. The Bilstein patented Digressive self-adjusting valving delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride on all road surfaces at any speed.
