ReadyLift 1999-2021 Silverado & Sierra 1500 2.25" Block Kit # 66-3002

This ReadyLift 2.25" Block Kit # 66-3002 is designed for use on 1999-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2wd and 4x4 trucks. The ReadyLift # 66-3002 block kit includes a pair of 2.25" thick Cast Iron lift blocks, correct length U-bolts and installation hardware (nuts & washers). If your truck is factory equipped with a block from the factory this ReadyLift 2.25" block is designed to replace the factory block so the total lift height will be the difference between the factory block thickness and the ReadyLift block thickness.

Lift Height - Basic Math Required!
The blocks included in ReadyLift Block Kit # 66-3002 are 2.25" inches tall. The 1999-2006 trucks did not come with any block installed from the factory. That means if your truck has no block now the installation of the ReadyLift 2.25" thick block will raise the rear suspension on your truck approximately 2.25" inches. Starting in 2007 GM started installing blocks on the back of their 1500 series trucks. On a lot of the 2007 - 2018 the factory installed block height is approximately 1.25" thick. The ReadyLift 2.25" block replaces the factory block (you cannot stack this 2.25" block with any other existing block!) which means the actual lift height increase is only 1.00" --- Math says 2.25" - 1.25" = 1.00". Owners of a newer 2019 Silverado or Sierra 1500 (non Trail Boss or AT4) will notice GM no longer installs a block from the factory. That means installation of this ReadyLift block will provide approximately 2.25" inches of lift over stock height.

Rear Shocks Information:
On the 1999-2006 and 2007 Classic model year trucks we do recommend you install a longer rear shock designed to match the 2.25" block lift height increase. On 2007 - 2018 model year trucks installation of a longer rear shock is generally not necessary. On 2019+ trucks we do recommend you install a longer rear shock designed to match the 2.25" block lift height increase.

Important Fitment Note:
Not for use on 2019-2021 GM 1500 trucks with the composite rear overload. This block is NOT designed for use on any vehicles equipped with Magnetic Ride / ARC.
