ReadyLift 2006 - 2018 Ram 1500 4x4 Upper Control Arm Kit # 67-1501 - Gen 2. ReadyLIFT is always looking for ways to help truck owners with their lifting and leveling needs. It's pretty common knowledge now that the newer model year Ram 1500 4WD trucks have an inherent design flaw that can result in the upper ball joint popping out of the control arm at full droop. This has occurred on both stock and lifted vehicles. If you've installed a leveling or lift kit the stamped steel OEM control arm simply mushrooms and allows the ball joint to pop out. The ReadyLIFT 67-1501 Ram 1500 Upper Control Arm Kit gives 2wd and 4x4 Ram 1500 truck owners peace of mind that they will not suffer a ball joint failure. The tubular DOM steel design features superior engineering and construction, along with the added benefits of ball joint angle correction. The included and pre-installed ReadyLIFT ball joints are superior to the OEM joints and are designed to work well with leveled and lifted applications.

2nd Generation Updates:

ReadyLIFT # 67-1501 replaces the 67-1500 part number. What's different? ReadyLIFT has made two improvements to the revised 67-1501 part number. ReadyLIFT now uses what they are calling their proprietary 1-ton ball joints and they claim they are far superior to the OEM joints. The 2nd upgrade is to the control arm pivot bushings. ReadyLIFT now include proprietary TCT - Terrain Control Technology self lubricating and maintenance-free pivot bushings. These bushings are designed to reduce maintenance requirements and to provide squeak-free operation.

Please note:

The geometry of the ReadyLift # 67-1501 control arm is basically the same as the stock arm. ReadyLIFT has clocked the ball-joint cup at a different angle that reduces the side loading on the ball-joint at full suspension extension that causes the factory arm ball-joint to pop out of the factory arm. ReadyLIFT control arms are intended for use on all 2006-2018 Ram 1500 trucks that are equipped with a small lift or leveling kit that have altered the angle at which the upper arm operates at. This control arm will NOT fix caster or camber issues. It only fixes the ball-joint angle issue.

This item includes one complete ReadyLift 67-1501 Upper Control Arm Kit. All necessary hardware required for installation is included.
