The included ReadyLift Upper Control Arms resolve the common problem of the factory ball joint pulling out of the stock control arm when a lift or leveling kit has been installed. This ReadyLift kit allows you to safely lift your truck while insuring you will never have a ball joint pull-through problem. If you haven't heard about this problem and haven't experienced it YET, just do a search for it online and you will find out the factory ball joints chronically separate from the stock control arm. The 69-1040 Ram 1500 lift kit also features a pair billet aluminum construction rear suspension coil spacers with integrated polyurethane sound isolators.

This kit is designed specifically for the new Dodge Ram trucks. The strong strut extension/pre load spacer combo provides 4" of lift from stock in the front and 2" of lift in the rear. This creates a mild lifted stance slightly beyond level and includes a slight rake which is ideal for towing and hauling. This lift also allows the Dodge truck owner to install up to 35" tall tires. ReadyLIFT strut extensions are designed to help maintain a smooth OEM ride without adding pressure to stock suspension components, guaranteed! Tire & Wheel Fitment Information
Readylift recommends a maximum tire size of 35x12.50 on a 9" wide wheel with +18 offset. Use of wider wheels or wheels with less offset may not clear properly. Some minor trimming may be necessary depending on the wheel size you select and the tire design. Please note that ReadyLift recommends a 35x11.50 as maximum size and with for use with their SST 4" Lift. Use of a wider tire on factory wheels may cause the tire sidewall to rub the ReadyLift Tubular Upper Control Arm.

Installation is simple and requires no cutting, or modification of factory installed parts. Due to a design issue with Dodge Ram front differential and suspension, some owners may experience a vibration in the front end when in 4x4 mode. The 4-HI mode vibration is a vibration or shudder that occurs when accelerating in 4x4 high mode. This can affect any Dodge Ram 1500 non-MegaCab model from 2006 to 2011.  Dodge never did fully disclose why their stock trucks would do this for some customers. The solution for Dodge was to simply state that there is no problem and that all of the new Rams may shudder or shake when in 4x4 high. This symptom appears isolated to select 2006-2011 Ram 1500 trucks and only when operated in 4-hi mode.
