SPC 2006-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Ball-Joint # 23940

SPC has designed this adjustable upper control arm ball-joint # 23940 for use on 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year Ram 1500 series 2wd and 4x4 trucks. Yes, this item will fit 2wd and 4x4 models but it will NOT fit the 8-lug Ram 1500 Mega Cab or 2019+ Ram 1500 models. Again... this ball-joint will NOT fit 1500 Mega Cab, 2500 or 3500 series trucks. If you need additional caster or camber after a lift or leveling kit has been installed this can provide up to 4 degrees of total adjustment, 2.0 degrees in either direction.

Installation of this ball-joint requires press work. You must press the existing ball-joint out of the factory upper control arm and then press the SPC mounting plate into the arm. With the correct tools the upper arm can remain on the vehicle during installation. It is critical that this SPC ball-joint be installed using the recommended specifications provided with the instructions. Failure to properly torque the SPC hardware can lead to changes in camber and/or caster during vehicle use. Properly installed this ball-joint is an excellent product and can prevent ball-joint "pull out" on lifted or leveling Ram trucks.

This item is designed ONLY for use in factory Ram or MOPAR upper control arms and is NOT designed for aftermarket arms made by Moog, MevoTech, etc.
