Superlift GM AutoTrac Front Driveshaft # 3287

Superlift front Driveshaft # 3287 is a heavy duty replacement Dual Cardan style front driveshaft that is for use on vehicle's equipped with GM's Autotrac option. If you have installed a 6" to 8" suspension lift and are experiencing a front driveline vibration when the transfer case is operated in the Auto or 4x4 mode this high angle driveshaft may be the cure. Superlift uses a Dual Cardan design that features one additional universal joint at the transfer case end of the driveshaft. Doing this allows the driveshaft to operate at steeper angles without binding. On the stock GM style driveshaft the single universal joint at the transfer case side of the shaft binds and when it does it causes the vibration you feel at higher speeds. Eliminate the binding and you eliminate the vibration!

This driveshaft is only intended for vehicles equipped with the GM AutoTrac transfer case, a Gasoline V8 engine and an Automatic transmission. This driveshaft will NOT fit HD vehicles equipped with an Allison transmission.
