CST Silverado & Sierra 8.1L & Duramax 6.6L Front Driveshaft # CSP-C28-1

The CST # CSP-C28-1 High Angle CV Style front driveshaft is designed to reduce front driveline vibration on the GM HD series trucks equipped with a drop subframe style suspension lift. If your Chevrolet or GMC 1500HD, 2500HD or 3500 series truck is running a CST Performance Suspension lift kit and you are experiencing vibrations or noise when operating your truck in 4x4 mode this may be the solution you need. The drive shaft features a dual Cardan style universal joint cage at the transfer case side that effectively doubles the operating angle at which the driveshaft can operate at and not bind.

Attention 2007 and newer HD Owners:

If you own a 2007 through 2010 model year truck the CST CSP-C28-1 Replacement Front Driveshaft will also require the installation of the CST # CSS-C22-7 Shift Linkage Bracket. On 2011-2015 trucks you will need to install the CST # CSS-C22-8 Shift Linkage Bracket. On 2016 - 2019 trucks you will need to install CST # CSS-C22-13 Shift Linkage Bracket. Failure to install the correct CST Shift Linkage Bracket kit on your truck can allow the CSP-C28-1 driveshaft to rip the factory linkage right off the truck causing major (and expensive) damage. The reason for this is because the CST Dual Cardan style driveshaft has a larger outside diameter at the transfer case side than the factory GM driveshaft.
