CST 2006-2008 Ram 1500 2wd 4" Lift Package

This PLC-D23-2 package is designed for use only on 2wd Ram 1500 trucks. It will fit all engine and cab configurations except the Mega Cab models. The package includes a pair of CST Cast Iron 4" Lift Spindles, extended length braided stainless steel DOT approved front brake hoses, cast iron Rear Lift Blocks and extended length rear U-Bolts. That is everything you need to lift your Ram 1500. Customer feedback has helped us offer a number of rear lift height options that will allow you to achieve the stance you want for your specific truck.

The CST 4" Lift spindles provide a major increase in ground clearance that gives a lifted 2wd Ram 1500 more ground clearance than a same height lifted Ram 1500 4x4! The CST spindles are designed to lift the vehicle an honest 4" inches in the front and retain a stock like ride. You do not need to replace the factory front shocks or the coil spring when installing this lift. This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn their Ram really does ride as nice as it looks! Again. this kit does NOT replace the front coil springs and for this reason retains a very smooth and comfortable ride.

Ordering Information
You have your choice of a 1", 1.5" or 2" Rear Lift Block Kit when purchasing this lift package. When lifting the front suspension 4" inches over stock you may need either a 1" or 1.5" rear lift block kit to help achieve a level stance front to rear. Extended length rear shock absorbers are recommended when the rear of the truck will be lifted 2" inches or higher over stock height. Please note that front and rear shock absorbers are NOT included because in most cases the factory shocks can be reused. Please be sure to select your desired rear lift height using the selection box located near the ADD TO CART button.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory Ram 1500 17" wheels diameter wheels. If you want to run a 17" diameter wheel with this lift you will either need wheel spacers (not included) or aftermarket wheels with less back space than the factory wheels. When running a 17x8 or 17x9" wheel the back space must not exceed 5.25" inches. Customers that own a Ram with the factory 20" diameter wheel can retain them but the tire width must not exceed 12.00" or 305 series. When running a 20" or larger diameter wheel you can have up to 5.50" inches of back space. We do have a growing number of customers using their factory 20" Dodge wheel and up to 305 series tires without a wheel spacer. Please be sure to check for sufficient clearance exists before driving the truck after the lift has been installed.

When purchasing shock absorbers (optional) the shock length we provide will be correct to work with the amount of lift height that you select. The Bilstein, CST, and Rancho RS5000 or RS9000XL shocks bolt right on with no additional modifications required to install. This kit will not fit Mega Cab 1500 or 2500 / 3500 series Ram trucks! Please note, this kit has been verified to fit all 2006, 2007 and 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks.
