CST 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra 1500 2wd - 4.5" to 5.5" Lift # CSK-G5-1

This CST 4.5" to 5.5" Lift System # CSK-G5-1 is designed to fit the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2wd and GMC Sierra 1500 2wd trucks. Please note this lift will ONLY fit 2wd models equipped with the ALUMINUM or STAMPED STEEL suspension. We have provided pictures of both suspension types so that you can determine which type your truck has. If your Silverado or Sierra has the Cast Steel factory suspension this item doesn't fit. By design the CST Lift Spindles are NOT compatible on any 4x4 models! This CST 3.5", 4.5" or 5.5" Suspension Lift System is 100% compatible with the GM Stabilitrack system. This CST lift includes sufficient components to achieve up to 5.5" inches of front suspension lift. If you only want 3.5" inches of lift you can install the CST 3.5" Lift Spindles by themselves. If you prefer a 4.5" lift height you will install the CST 3.5" Lift Spindles and the provided 1" Lift Strut Spacer. If you want to lift your Silverado or Sierra 5.5" inches you will install the CST 3.5" Lift Spindles, 1" Lift Strut Spacer, and the 1" Lift Spring pre-load Spacer. With 5.5" inches of suspension lift and minor trimming up to a 35" tire can be run.

Rear Lift Information:

The included 3" tall rear lift blocks will replace your factory 1.00" block. That means you will achieve approximately 2" inches of rear lift when installing a 3" lift block (3" Lift Block minus Factory 1" Lift Block = 2" of lift). We also offer a 4" tall lift block that will provide 3" of additional lift after the factory 1" block is removed. If you want a level stance and plan on installing the CST front lift to 5.5" inches we recommend the 4" rear block to achieve a more level stance. With a 5.5" front lift and a 2" rear lift (3" CST block - Factory 1" block) the front of the truck will be higher than the back. For customers that do not want run a tall rear lift block we also offer the Deaver Spring Company Mini Packs # J1. These packs can provide between 2" and 3" of rear lift on a 1500 series truck. Optional rear lift components are available for purchase using the selection boxes located near the Add To Cart button.

Shock Absorber Information:

CST does not include shock absorbers with this Stage 1 System. Extended length rear shock absorbers are required when installing this lift. Rear shocks are available for purchase using the selection boxes located above this item description. As an optional upgrade, coilovers can be added to the CST 3.5" lift spindle that should allow you to achieve up to 5.5" of lift without the use of the Strut Spacer or Pre-Load Spacers. The major benefit of a replacement front coilover is ease of ride height adjustment and the increase in on and off-road handling and suspension performance. Another performance option is the installation of the CST Closed Top UniBall Control Arm. This CST Upper Arm can provide additional suspension travel when paired with an extended travel coilover and increased strength over the factory arm design. New upper arms are an excellent upgrade for those looking to put together a Mid Travel system. The additional suspension travel makes a very noticeable difference in how the Silverado and Sierra react when driven more aggressively off-road and are a very worthwhile upgrade.

Tire and Wheel Information:

CST recommends the use of a 33" tall tire on 8" wide wheels when running the kit at 3.5" inches and up to a 35" tire when running the kit at 5.5" inches. Some wheels with up to 5.50" back space will work with this kit however test fitting is MANDATORY as not all wheels with 5.50" of back space will clear! If you want to run a larger tire we'd suggest performing a test fit before mounting up and installing all four tire/wheel combos.
