This Doetsch Tech # 589810 3" spindle lift is designed for use with Ranger trucks equipped with the coil spring front suspension. This spindle is designed for use on 2001-2009 2wd Ford Ranger trucks only! The Ford Ranger, like its larger F-150 sibling, is a rugged and stylish truck in need of an upgraded suspension system. Doetsch Tech offers owners of the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, or 2009 Ford Ranger an easy way to raise suspension height a full 3" inches that allows the use of larger than stock tires. This 3" Spindle Lift is only for use on Coil Spring Equipped 2WD Rangers includes a pair of Doetsch # 589810 spindles, basic installation hardware, printed installation instructions... no more and no less.

The Doetsch Tech # 589810 3" Lift Spindles are designed for use on 2001-2009 model years only. These spindles help retain a smooth stock like ride and allow for up to a 31" tire to be used. For owners looking to keep a soft riding rear suspension a 2" block and u-bolt kit is an excellent rear lift method. For those customers that frequently haul or tow a trailer, the 1.5" Lift Rear Add-A-Leaf Kit is recommended because it provides addition spring rate which reduces sagging under a load. Add-A-Leaf kits do provide a slightly firmer ride when unloaded. For those owners that require additional lift to run a larger tire, Doetsch Tech also offers a taller 5" lift that will clear up to a 32x11.5R15 tire.
Tire & Wheel Information:
Doetsch Tech recommends the use of a 31x10.50R15 tire mounted on 15x7" wheels with 3-3/4" back space (may require minor trimming) for use with this 3" spindle lift.
Vehicle Fitment Information:
This spindle is a direct bolt on part for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 model year Ranger trucks built on the coil spring IFS chassis. Out of the box these spindles will NOT fit any 1998-2000 model year. Why? Because the 1998 - 2000 Ranger trucks are built with smaller diameter brake rotors. Earlier 1998 - 2000 trucks have a 10.25" rotor diameter. The 2001 - 2009 trucks have a larger 11.25" rotor diameter. If you own an earlier model year truck a fairly popular upgrade is to install this spindle AND upgrade to the newer rotors. That means if you own a 1998, 1999 or 2000 you will need to purchase more parts. If you own a 2001 - 2009 this spindle will bolt right up without any additional parts being required. These spindles will NOT not fit any Ranger EDGE, Ranger Sport or any other Ranger built on the Torsion Bar front suspension.
