ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Series Front Coilover # 71606 are the ultimate in front suspension upgrades for the 2019+ Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2wd and 4x4 trucks. These 2.5 Series shocks are specifically tailored by ICON engineers for the exact application they are installed on. ICON shocks are a high quality upgrade for the everyday street driver and weekend warrior looking for improved on and off road performance. Like all ICON shock absorbers the 2.5 Series shocks can be rebuilt and revalved if even more vehicle specific tuning is required.

For customers that drive their trucks on rough roads (or off-road) the ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Shock is a much better option than the smaller and less robust 2.0 series shocks. The larger 2.5 shocks are designed to handle extra abuse and punishment that your suspension will need to endure during off-road or rough road driving. ICON has spent numerous hours on multiple terrains testing each vehicle to make sure they build a shock that provides the best performance and ride quality on the market. We've tested the ICON 2.5 PiggyBack against the ICON 2.0, Bilstein 5100 and FOX 2.0 IFP series shocks and the ICON 2.5 is superior. Extended Travel Information:
Thiscoilover features an Extended Travel design. That means this shock provides additional rebound suspension travel that helps improve the ride quality over rough road surfaces when the shock is set to provide lift over the stock vehicle height. Because the coilover allows the suspension to drop down farther than the stock design ICON recommends the use of their Delta Joint equipped upper control arms. The ICON control arms are designed to align and operate without binding at higher lift heights and when paired with the ICON Extended Travel Coilover can provide 15% more suspension travel than a standard travel setup.

This ICON Shock Part # 71606 is designed to be installed on the front suspension of 2019, 2020 and 2021 GM 1500 series trucks. This ICON shock absorber will NOT work on trucks equipped with computer controlled shocks. This shock can be used on standard models and can achieve between 1.5" and 3.5" of lift height over stock. On TrailBoss and AT4 models this shock can only provide up to 1.5" of lift over factory height. The listed price includes one pair of ICON 71605 front coilover shock assemblies.
